MY JOURNEY
My journey as an artist began when I was a kid. I've always had a passion for drawing, creativity, and bringing ideas to life through art and design. Long before I considered it a career, I was constantly sketching, experimenting, and finding inspiration in the world around me.
Like many people, my path wasn't a straight line. Before becoming a professional designer, I worked a variety of jobs, including as a cook, fast-food employee, and call center agent. While those experiences taught me valuable lessons about hard work, customer service, and perseverance, I always knew I wanted to build a career doing something creative.
The opportunity finally came when I was hired at a print shop, starting with one of the most basic jobs—cleaning screens. I was eager to learn every aspect of the business, from production and printing to design and customer service. Then one day, an unexpected opportunity changed everything.
The shop's lead designer didn't show up, and a customer had an urgent design that needed to be completed immediately. I volunteered to create the artwork. When the design was finished, both the business owner and the client were impressed with the result. The client specifically requested that I handle their future design work, and from that moment on, I was given the chance to grow as a designer.
That single opportunity opened the door to a career I've truly enjoyed. Over the years, I've worked with print shops, sign companies, and marketing businesses, creating everything from logos, branding, and apparel graphics to vehicle wraps, signage, promotional products, websites, and large-format displays. Every project has strengthened my skills and reinforced my passion for creative problem-solving.
Today, after more than 18 years in the design industry, I still approach every project with the same excitement I had when I first picked up a pencil as a child. For me, design isn't just a profession—it's a lifelong passion. I enjoy helping businesses tell their stories, strengthen their brands, and make a lasting impression through creative, thoughtful design.
